| Since the beginning | |
| we have been told that man has almost
always been one of the weaker physical species of animals. In order to
survive, man has organized himself into groups to derive the power of
many as compared to one. This has led to greater stability for the
species, enabling sharing and aid to other group members. It has also
unfortunately led to the development of an ego that is misrepresentative
of the power of groups.
As groups and members have changed, so has the ego, mainly to the point where at most times the weaker and more submissive, slows the dominant, dictates the pace and over time specializes in controlling the group. Why? Because of sharing and aid...and not that this is a bad thing, there simply needs to be a balance. These groups have changed dramatically over time with the resultant turmoil of today, the body politic. Who is right, What is Right? What is Left, Who is left? Don't you know? It is the FEELing! the CARing, the EQUALity that is important! Back to my basis, I say. I shouldn't try writing late at night anymore....... One more thought... The next time you hear xxxxxxx "for the children". Your brain should automatically think "Lie". Its not for the children, its for the politicians. Kids are young people, most are smarter than we think, they want to take the easy route and will no doubt succeed unless taught differently. That is basic amongst all human beings. Why should we relegate them and society to developmental systems that will not yield responsible, productive people. Oh yeah, I forgot it is the FEELing! the CARing, the EQUALity ... | In this campaign, it has been sited by
numerous pundits, most not worth mentioning, that there is little
difference between the two major parties. This of course has
spawned the terms "Republicrats" and "Democans". If this were true,
where would we find the meaning of "rats"? (just a little joke
to see if you've been paying attention)
I think it is true that many of the top issues have been addressed by both parties, with, shall we say minimal differences as each tries to move more to the middle of mainstream of the political parties platform agendas. It truly has become a campaign for the undecided (UD). For those that lead a principle centered life, are not moved by looks, fanfare, rhetoric, personality or TV appearance, instead, they vote their conscience, their ideals and base these on the established doctrines and promise our constitution affords them. Hey! wait a minute on both sides. Where'd you all go? Boy the UD sure got bigger. I think I'm I'm on to something here. If you are a UD, you are not committed. Wow!, What a wonderful situation. Until they raise your taxes another 10%, or take away your basic rights (like parental control, gun ownership, freedom of speech), or dismantle your defenses, or train your child to be something other than a person (from either side). Still want to be an UD. Didn't think so! So get off your fanny and vote!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Deciding issues for The Sonoman | |
| Mankind will always determine its fate and how we attain it.
If you believe that governments can effectively manage and provide for
humanity, than there is a course you have to take, and that is a liberal
democratic one. If on the other hand, you want some control of
your own destiny, you have another course and that is most likely
conservative and republican. We don't have to fight about it, Just Vote!
History has shown that only one type of government works successfully and that is a republic, with a democratic essence. Boy, the founders of of our two parties started the spin right away with the naming of the parties (who were these guys? $10 sonoma bucks to the first person answering correctly). The essence of the decision though seems to be very simple. We have no foreign policy, no energy policy, no economic policy, no education policy, so........ where is the government? I want some of my money back. Why do I have to work so hard? Oh yeah, its the feeling, the caring, the equality... WELL DARN IT, IT SOUNDS LIKE SOCIALISM AND I DON'T LIKE IT ALL. Back to my basis! |
