FRAUD, SCANDAL, THE MAINSTREAM NEWS, POLITICAL HACKS, THE DECLINE AND FALL OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, or ....simply a modern democracy in action.

We are all so very frustrated by a process that should be much more tightly controlled and yet seems to be lose in ever manner, unsophisticated and ripe with the opportunity for fraudulent acts.

Is it the process or is it the participants? I learned this week of a famous saying by none other than Joseph Stalin. It goes something like this. "It is not the people who vote who elect governments, it is the people who count the votes who elect governments"

What this tells me is that this has been going on for hundreds and possibly thousands of years (where and if any elections were held back then) and truly shows why rulers in the past did what they did. They took power by force. There was no delay, you did what you were told or most likely ended up dead. Things were shall we say, much clearer.

This is not to say that I favor returning to any such times or ways or means. It is simply my ranting about a process that I find at this point disgusting.

On recounts.
If we are to have a recount in one county, of one state, we should in essence have a recount in every county of every state. We must tie each vote to a living person and all those who were not given a chance to vote for one reason or another, must be allowed to vote. I say this for the simple fact that there has been fraud, by voters, by party officials, by government officials and by judicial bodies. Maybe we should all vote again....The only problem is finding someone honest enough to complete the process with integrity. Hmmmm..... How about the Swiss Guard? No, someone will find a problem with anyone.

What we must do, is tighten the process, include strict accountability factors and impose heavy penalties for ANYONE tampering with the process. How about life in prison? It is time for a few good men to come forward.

Winners and Losers
The saddest part is who wins. Its not the American people, and not the children. No, Al Gore, this is not a civics lesson for the children (remember my xxxx "for the children" saying in the original Politic of Man.). Who wins is the mainstream media, and boy is their pollution at toxic levels. What's the old line... Oh yeah, follow the money.

We may soon have a new president, he may at this point have stolen the office, unfortunately, we'll never know, and at this point in time, we the people will have little chance at changing the outcome or process. All I can say is that this is the stuff that revolutions and wars begin over.

If you are a republican, wait for Saturday. If you are a democrat urge your party to stop dividing the country and let Mr. Vice President Al Gore know its time to concede. He gave it a good run, but the country is more important than his demagoguery, dreams and goals.
